Jr Sales Engineer

 We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer specializing in industrial automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven sales experience. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, and driving sales growth in the industrial automation sector.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation to drive sales of automation solutions including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial control systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with customer-facing sales skills to develop new business and support existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation
• Promote and sell PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and control panels
• Understand customer applications and propose suitable technical solutions
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and site visits
• Coordinate with engineering and service teams for project execution
• Maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and end users
• Achieve assigned sales targets and prepare sales reports and forecasts

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field
• Hands-on knowledge of PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA systems
• Experience with brands such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to understand industrial processes and applications
• Willingness to travel for customer visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation sales or application engineering
• Knowledge of control panels, networking, and industrial protocols
• Existing customer network in manufacturing / process industries
